Complex বাক্যে সাধারণতঃ একটি Main Clause ও Subordinate Clause ০১টি থাকে যা that, when, how, as, because, if দ্বারা যুক্ত হয়।
- এ বাক্যকে Passive করতে দুটি Clause-এরই Voice পরিবর্তিত হয়।
- প্রথমে Main Clause-এর It(Introductory)আগে বসে। তারপর Main Clause-এর Tense অনুসারে Verb ‘to be’ + ঐ Clause-এর মূল Verb এর P.P form বসে। তারপর নিয়মানুসারে Prepositon +ঐ Clause-এর Sub টি obj হয়।
Note: তবে Main Clause-এর obj থাকলে উক্ত obj কে Sub করেও Voiceপরিবর্তন করা যায়।
- তারপর Subordinate Clause-এর ১ম Word(Conjuction)-টি বসে। এরপর ঐ Clause-এর obj. থাকলে নিয়মানুসারে Passive-পরিবর্তন করতে হয়। তবে obj না থাকলে Passive হয় না।

Note: people sub. হলে preposition + Obj. উহ্য থাকে।
NB: আবার Passive form সহ Subordinate Clause- টিকে বাক্যের প্রথমে এনেও বাক্যটিকে করা যায়।
