IPS হচ্ছে , Instant Power System  যা মূলত Power Storage  হিসেবে কাজ করে থাকে। IPS এমন একটি ডিভাইস যা বৈদ্যুতিক পাওয়ার রিজার্ভ করে এবং পরবর্তীতে Main  লাইন বা বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহের বন্ধে Back Up  দেয়। Back Up  এর ন্যায় IPS বৈদ্যুতিক সরবরাহ বন্ধের সাথে সাথে বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহ দিতে পারে না।     1/10  Sec  পরে সরবরাহ Automatically প্রদান করে থাকে। UPS  অল্প সময়ের জন্য Back Up  দিয়ে থাকে কিন্তু UPS  এর তুলনায় IPS বহুগুণ Back Up  দিয়ে থাকে। তাই IPS বিভিন্ন বৈদ্যুতিক যন্ত্রপাতি চালনায় বেশি জনপ্রিয়।
