In 2015, Dr. Fazle Hasan Abed, founder of BRAC, was honored with the Ramon Magsaysay Award for Public Service. Under his leadership, BRAC grew from a small relief operation into a global development organization, delivering innovative programs in micro‑finance, education, health and empowerment that have lifted millions out of poverty.
